Total Smile Restoration With All-On-4

Your Dentist in Philadelphia, PA

Your Permanent Alternative To Traditional Dentures

If you’re suffering from extensive tooth loss and are looking for a more convenient alternative to full-mouth dentures, All-On-4 in Philadelphia from Dr. Molly Rosen may be right for you. With All-On-4, you can permanently replace a full mouth of missing teeth, eliminate the discomfort and inconvenience of traditional dentures, and love your smile once again.

What Is All-On-4, And How Does It Work?

All-On-4 is a type of dental implant treatment that uses four implants to replace the upper arch, lower arch, or both arches of your teeth. This is in contrast to other types of implant dentures, which often must use six implants or more to support a full row of teeth. All-On-4 implants are designed to be placed into the mouth at a certain angle that maximizes their strength, which means fewer implants are needed to support your new smile.

Another big difference between All-On-4 and other types of implant-supported dentures is that it is not removable. Dr. Molly Rosen will create a set of porcelain dentures that will attach to your All-On-4 implants permanently. Unlike traditional dentures and other types of implant-supported dentures, there’s no need to remove them to brush or floss.

Wondering if you’re a good candidate? All-On-4 may be right for you if you have lost most or all of your teeth and would prefer a more long-lasting, natural, and convenient alternative to traditional dentures. To find out if All-On-4 is right for you, we recommend booking a consultation with Dr. Molly Rosen.

The Benefits Of Choosing All-On-4

Incredibly lifelike results

Dr. Molly Rosen is an expert in the All-On-4 treatment process and works closely with a master ceramist at a local dental lab to ensure that you get a lifelike, natural, and beautiful smile that perfectly accentuates your face. We use the highest-quality porcelain and the latest treatment planning technology to make sure you love your new smile with All-On-4!

Get teeth in a day

With All-On-4, you will get a temporary set of teeth as soon as you get your dental implant surgery. There’s no need to wait to restore your teeth, and you can start smiling with confidence as soon as you walk out of our office!

Unbeatable smile stability

Traditional dentures are only held in with friction, and sometimes with denture adhesive. This means that they can wobble, shift, and move. This makes it harder to eat some foods and may even affect your speech. But with All-On-4, your new teeth will be securely anchored into your jawbone. Your implant-supported dentures will never shift or move!

Great long-term investment

All-On-4 may be more expensive than traditional dentures, but it’s worth the investment. Dental implants typically last at least 30 years. And if you take good care of your smile, you may even be able to keep your All-On-4 implants for the rest of your life.

Enhanced convenience

Unlike with traditional dentures, there’s no need to remove your All-On-4 teeth at night, or for routine cleaning. Your fixed dentures will remain in place permanently, which makes them much more convenient. You can sleep, eat, brush, and floss without worrying about taking out your dentures!

Understanding The All-On-4 Treatment Process

  • Treatment planning and prep – Before you can get All-On-4, you’ll meet with Dr. Rosen to confirm that you’re a good candidate. In some cases, you may need additional preparatory treatments like tooth extractions and bone grafts. These must be done before you can get your dental implants.
  • Implant placement and same-day smile – Once you’re approved for All-On-4, Dr. Rosen will begin developing your treatment plan. Then, you’ll come in to get your dental implants. Dr. Rosen will place four implants in the upper, lower, or both arches of your mouth. Then, she will attach a set of temporary teeth that you will wear while you heal and recover from surgery.

  • Healing, recovery, and checkups – You can get back to your normal routine within a couple of days, but it will take a few weeks for your mouth to heal after surgery. Even after you recover, you must wait between 3-6 months for your new dental implants to permanently bond (osseointegrate) with your jawbone. You will come in for several follow-ups with Dr. Rosen during this time so that she can track your progress.

  • Crafting your permanent smile – As your mouth heals, Dr. Rosen will take scans of your mouth and begin working with our partner dental lab to create your permanent All-On-4 dentures out of the highest-quality ceramic materials. Your new teeth will look and feel completely natural.
  • Final All-On-4 fixed denture placement – Once your dental implants have fully healed and bonded with your mouth, you’ll come in for one last visit at the office of Dr. Molly Rosen. Dr. Rosen will remove your temporary teeth and check the fit of your permanent dentures. Then, she will attach them permanently to your dental implants and send you home to enjoy your newly restored smile!
